Terms of Service
Last updated: February 16, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Ticksupply ("we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Ticksupply platform, including the website, dashboard, API, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- "Service" or "Platform" means the Ticksupply platform, including all infrastructure for collecting, storing, and exporting publicly available market data from supported cryptocurrency exchanges, accessible via the web dashboard and API.
- "User" or "You" means the individual or entity that has registered for and maintains a Ticksupply account.
- "Subscription" means a request to collect a specific data stream from a supported exchange.
- "Market Data" or "Data" means publicly available exchange data (such as trades, order book depth, and price data) collected via the Service.
- "API" means the Ticksupply application programming interface for programmatic access.
- "API Key" means the authentication credentials issued to you for accessing the API.
- "Export" means the extraction of stored market data into a downloadable file.
2. Account Terms
To use the Service, you must create an account. By doing so, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You will register only one account.
- You will provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
- You will maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with any other person or entity.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Sharing credentials is prohibited. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, non-payment (after the grace period described below), or abuse of the Service.
3. Description of Service
Ticksupply provides managed infrastructure for collecting and storing publicly available market data from supported cryptocurrency exchanges. The Service includes:
- Automated data collection from supported exchanges
- Storage of collected market data
- Export of stored data in supported formats
- A web dashboard for managing subscriptions and exports
- An API for programmatic access
Ticksupply charges for the infrastructure service — collection, storage, reliability, and export tooling — not for the underlying market data, which is publicly accessible. The specific exchanges, instruments, data formats, and features available may change at any time. We do not guarantee that any particular exchange or instrument will remain available.
Some features may be designated as beta or experimental. Beta features are provided as-is with no guarantees and may be modified or removed at any time without notice.
What the Service is Not
Ticksupply does not provide investment advice, trading signals, financial advisory services, direct exchange access, brokerage services, or data analysis. Data provided through the Service should not be relied upon for making financial decisions.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Plans and Billing
Available plans and pricing are published on the Ticksupply pricing page. Subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is processed through Stripe, and by subscribing you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
A valid payment method is required at signup.
Free Trial
New users receive a 7-day free trial. Trial accounts include all plan features but cannot incur overages. During the trial, you may cancel to avoid charges or begin your paid subscription early. After the trial, your selected plan is charged automatically. By agreeing to these Terms at signup, you expressly consent to the Service beginning immediately, and you acknowledge that this may affect your right to cancel during the statutory cooling-off period.
Taxes
All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Where required by law, applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) will be added to your invoice. You are responsible for providing accurate tax information and for any taxes not collected by Ticksupply.
Usage and Overage
Each plan includes an allowance of data streams and export volume. Usage beyond the included allowance is billed at overage rates. There are no hard caps that block the Service; overages are billed automatically. Detailed usage calculation methods, including rounding rules, are published in the Ticksupply documentation.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, your account enters a short grace period. During this period, existing data streams continue recording, but you cannot add new streams or create exports. If payment is not resolved within the grace period, your account is suspended.
Refunds
If you cancel within 14 days of your initial signup, you are entitled to a refund, minus a pro-rata deduction reflecting usage and costs incurred during that period. After 14 days, no refunds are issued; the Service remains active until the end of the current billing period.
If we terminate your account without cause, you will receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your billing period. If we terminate your account for cause (violation of Terms, illegal activity, abuse), no refund is issued.
Price Changes
We may change our prices at any time. You will be notified by email at least 30 days before new prices take effect. New prices apply at the next billing cycle after the notice period.
5. API and Technical Usage
You are responsible for the security of your API keys, which must be stored securely and must not be shared or made publicly accessible. You are responsible for all activity under your API keys and must report compromised keys immediately.
The API is subject to rate limits as published in the Ticksupply documentation. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that exhibit abusive usage patterns, even within published rate limits.
You must not:
- Reverse-engineer the Service or its infrastructure
- Scrape the web dashboard
- Circumvent rate limits or access controls
- Use automated tools to access the Service outside of the provided API
- Attempt to access other users' data
6. Data Usage Rights
Ticksupply provides infrastructure services. We do not claim ownership of the underlying market data and do not grant or restrict data usage rights.
When you subscribe to a data stream, the data is collected and stored on your behalf. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to collect data from each exchange through the Service, including the right to use a third-party service like Ticksupply to collect data on your behalf.
You are solely responsible for compliance with each exchange's terms of service, including any restrictions on data usage, redistribution, or commercial use. Ticksupply does not verify your exchange agreements or data rights.
Ticksupply imposes no restrictions on how you use the data you collect, and no attribution to Ticksupply is required. Any restrictions on data usage come from the originating exchanges, not from Ticksupply.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must not:
- Use the Service in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users
- Use the Service for illegal activity, fraud, or any activity that violates third-party rights
- Violate the terms of service of any exchange accessed through Ticksupply
Violation of these requirements may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
8. Intellectual Property
Ticksupply owns all rights in the Platform, including its code, design, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property. You retain ownership of your account configurations and exported data files.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to Ticksupply become our property and may be used freely without obligation or compensation. Nothing in these Terms grants any licence or right beyond what is explicitly stated.
9. Data Accuracy Disclaimers
All data provided through the Service is provided "as-is" without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Market data originates from third-party exchanges, and Ticksupply is not responsible for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in data provided by those exchanges.
We do not guarantee real-time delivery of data. Latency, delays, and interruptions may occur. These disclaimers apply to all data, whether real-time or historical.
10. Financial Disclaimers
Ticksupply is not an investment adviser, financial adviser, broker, or dealer. Nothing provided through the Service constitutes investment advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.
You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions. Ticksupply is not liable for any financial losses resulting from the use of data obtained through the Service.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy in addition to these Terms. The Privacy Policy describes what personal data is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data. Ticksupply processes personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party services, including cryptocurrency exchanges (for market data), payment processors, and authentication providers. You acknowledge that these third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.
Ticksupply is not responsible for the actions, availability, or policies of third-party services. Changes to third-party services, including exchange API changes or outages, may affect the availability or functionality of the Service.
13. Service Availability
Ticksupply does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service is provided on a "reasonable efforts" basis with no uptime commitment or service level agreement.
We will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice of planned maintenance. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice. We may, at our sole discretion, offer service credits for extended disruptions, but there is no automatic or guaranteed credit for outages.
Ticksupply is not liable for service interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including exchange outages, internet disruptions, natural disasters, government actions, or other force majeure events.
14. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Ticksupply is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the total fees paid by you in the 6 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. These limitations apply even if any remedy fails its essential purpose.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ticksupply, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your misuse of data obtained through the Service, including any violation of exchange terms of service
- Your violation of any applicable law
- Any third-party claims resulting from your actions, including claims by exchanges related to your data collection or usage
16. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. The Service remains active until the end of the current billing period, and cancellation stops future renewals.
We may terminate your account immediately for cause, including violation of these Terms, illegal activity, non-payment (after the grace period), or abuse. We may also terminate without cause by providing 30 days' written notice.
Upon termination, market data associated with your account will be deleted within 30 days. You should export any needed data before termination. Billing records are retained for 7 years in accordance with UK tax requirements. Personal data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
The following sections survive termination: Intellectual Property, Data Accuracy Disclaimers, Financial Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution, and General Provisions.
17. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.
18. Dispute Resolution
You and Ticksupply will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking relief in a small claims court of competent jurisdiction.
19. Geographic Restrictions
Ticksupply does not provide services to users located in countries subject to UK, US (OFAC), or EU sanctions. By using the Service, you represent that you are not located in, and are not a resident or national of, any sanctioned country or territory.
You are separately responsible for complying with any geographic restrictions imposed by individual exchanges.
20. General Provisions
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ticksupply.
- If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
- Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms. You may not assign or transfer your rights without our written consent.
- The relationship between you and Ticksupply is that of independent parties. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment, or agency relationship.
